Role Summary

The Senior Full Stack Developer will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and maintaining software platforms and solutions for FlexRad’s AI-Driven Radiology Platform. This is a multi-faceted role, focusing on ensuring that both the front-end and back-end components of our applications are scalable, reliable, and intuitive. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in optimizing web development frameworks, databases, and cloud services. We are seeking a collaborative professional with significant experience in building scalable platforms and managing a diverse set of third party & inhouse integrations

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree a plus

• 6+ years of professional experience in full stack development

Technical Skills

• Expertise in designing scalable, efficient, and robust systems architecture, including cloud infrastructure

• Experience in designing and implementing APIs, microservices architecture, and integrating diverse systems and platforms

• Knowledge of AI Technology and Architecture a plus

• Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)

• Strong back-end development skills with experience in Node.js, Nest.js, Python, PHP, or similar languages

• Expertise in working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), including designing data architecture and optimizing database performance.

• Experience with Working with Clinical Image Viewer Tools (Radiology/Pathology)

• Prior experience with Graph QL and RESTful API design and implementation

• Knowledge of version control systems (ex: Git)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of security best practices and experience ensuring systems meet compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulations.

• Experience with HL7 Messages, MIRTH etc. for the third-party integrations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience with Queuing Systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA)

• Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal projects a plus

• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks a plus

• Prior experience integrating and interfacing with Radiology Image Viewers or Imaging Systems a plus

• Prior experience developing vision systems for process and quality control applications a plus
