Role Summary

As a Website and SEO Developer Intern, you’ll work closely with our product, business and marketing teams to help design, build, and optimize websites that provide a seamless user experience and are highly discoverable in search engines. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in both web development and SEO, making a measurable impact on our digital presence.

• Take a full ownership of developing and maintaining web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.

• Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into responsive and interactive website features.

• Support SEO initiatives by implementing on-page optimization techniques, such as keyword placement, metadata, and internal linking.

• Conduct website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., site speed, crawl errors, broken links).

• Help monitor website analytics, track SEO performance, and provide data-driven insights.

• Stay updated on SEO best practices and web development trends.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Recent graduates or final-year students are also encouraged to apply

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and link-building basics.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.

• Exposure to SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Ahrefs (a plus).

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and report findings.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Development, or a related field.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and web performance optimization.

• Knowledge of technical SEO concepts like schema markup, mobile-first indexing, and page speed optimization.
